By booking a charter or accessing the Service, you consent to these Terms. If you disagree with any portion, you may not access the Service.
2. Service Overview
Aurora Cove Yacht Club provides premier yacht charter experiences, including but not limited to:
- Daily yacht rentals
- Sunset cruises
- Corporate retreats
- Private events
- Multi-day charters
All offerings depend on vessel availability and weather; we may adjust or discontinue services at any time.
3. Booking and Reservations
3.1 How to book
To reserve a charter, you must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Provide truthful and complete information
- Submit the deposit specified in your booking confirmation
- Agree to these Terms & Conditions
3.2 Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed only after payment is received and you obtain our written confirmation. We may deny service at our discretion.
3.3 Availability
All charters depend on vessel availability and suitable weather. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred dates and times.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Pricing
All prices are quoted in £ and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices may change without notice.
4.2 Payment Schedule
- Deposit: 50% of total charter cost due at booking
- Balance: Due 48 hours before charter departure
- Additional charges (if any): Due upon completion of charter
4.3 Payment Methods
We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and certified cheques. Payment processing is handled through secure, encrypted systems.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Customer Cancellations
- More than 72 hours before departure: Full refund minus processing fees
- 24-72 hours before departure: 50% refund
- Less than 24 hours before departure: No refund
5.2 Weather Cancellations
If weather conditions are deemed unsafe by our captain, we will offer to:
- Reschedule your charter to the next available date at no additional cost
- Provide a full refund if rescheduling is not possible
5.3 Mechanical Issues
In the event of mechanical problems with your assigned vessel, we will attempt to provide a suitable alternative. If no alternative is available, a full refund will be provided.
6. Safety and Conduct
6.1 Safety Requirements
All passengers must:
- Follow all crew directions
- Wear the provided safety equipment when required
- Disclose any medical conditions that may affect safety
- Remain within designated areas of the vessel
6.2 Prohibited Items
The following items are not permitted on board:
- Glass containers
- Illegal substances
- Firearms or weapons
- Excessive non-alcoholic beverages (e.g., juice or lemonade) beyond reasonable consumption
- Pets (unless pre-approved)
6.3 Conduct
Passengers are expected to behave respectfully. We may terminate a charter early without refund if passenger behavior poses a safety risk or disrupts the experience for others.
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Our Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for your charter. We are not responsible for:
- Personal injuries resulting from passenger negligence
- Loss or damage to personal property
- Indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
- Delays caused by weather or circumstances beyond our control
7.2 Insurance Coverage
We maintain comprehensive marine insurance covering our vessels and operations. Passengers are responsible for their own travel and personal insurance.
7.3 Assumption of Risk
By participating in our charter services, you acknowledge that marine activities involve inherent risks and you assume responsibility for your own safety and well-being.
8. Modifications and Itinerary Changes
We reserve the right to modify itineraries, routes, or schedules based on weather conditions, safety considerations, or operational requirements. Every effort will be made to provide comparable alternative experiences.
9. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or modifications caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather conditions
- Natural disasters
- Government regulations
- Port closures
- Mechanical failures
10. Privacy and Data Protection
